Charli XCX Portrays a Hell Version of Herself in Mockumentary Teaser

The Grammy-winning artist is preparing for a significant big screen appearance in 2026, starting with the mockumentary titled The Moment.

Throughout the movie, she plays what she describes as a dark version of herself.

It’s the most authentic portrayal of the music business that I’ve ever encountered, the performer remarked.

She elaborated in an interview: It’s far from a live performance documentary, yet the concept came from the demand to make one.

An Early Look into The Moment

The initial preview, unveiled on Thursday, combines real clips from her live performances with made-up backstage scenes.

The film is overseen and co-authored by her collaborator, who revealed that the plot revolves around a scenario where the singer took completely different paths throughout the publicity of her smash hit album Brat.
