Helicopter Spirals Uncontrollably into Palm Groves at Well-Known Southern California Coast
A chopper soaring near a popular California beach unexpectedly started spinning wildly, ultimately losing altitude and crashing into a line of palm groves as onlookers watched.
Videos shared on social media show the aircraft starting to spin near the shoreline then descending towards the perimeter of the shore, where it ends up lodged between palm groves and a steps near the Pacific Coast highway.

The Huntington Beach fire department said five people were transported to a medical facility including two individuals who were in the helicopter and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” following the accident on the weekend.
Three people on the pavement were hurt. Specifics on their condition were not immediately available.
The cause of the crash was still under investigation.
